World-renowned Hardwell has been named DJ MAG’s #1 DJ. Twice. We’ve been collaborating since 2022, starting with his REBELS NEVER DIE comeback tour, continuing into 2023, and again for the 2024 world tour. Taking over the world with Hardwell, one supershow at a time!
About the production
The show concept is built around four evolving chapters:
I Am a Rebel: Street art, graffiti, raw energy
I Am a Dreamer: Ethereal video dreamscapes
I Am Creating My Own Reality: Digital worlds, fantasy, AI, imagination
I Am a Bit Crazy: Horror, jump scares, retro collages, 90s chaos
Programming & advancing
We started late 2023 with a full new show concept, kicking off with a shoot directed by Tom van den Berg (Del Monte Media). From there, we layered in 2D illustrations, motion graphics, and gritty textures.
We worked with a unique 2 x 4K resolution—giving us the ability to cover any mainstage in the world without duplicating visuals. During ULTRA MIAMI, the show season opener, we spent days in the studio programming the show to timecode: syncing video, lights, lasers—frame by frame.
Content production & live operating
In 2024, we toured with the show to 23 cities, from Ultra Miami to Ultra Taipei. Our core team travels together: 1 VJ (VeeMee), 1 light operator (The Next Cue), 1 sound operator (Noiz Boyz). We usually arrive a day early to connect all systems and finalize programming before showtime.
