Creating perfectly fitting content for Lakedance’s stage designs is a biannual pleasure. This time, Lakedance flipped it up with the joyfully mellow flavours of a tropically-infused pastel world, with some neon mixed in for good measure. A retro lick of 80s callbacks, combined with organic textures and shapes, all seen through the filter of contemporary production values. “The past inside the present”, is what someone with deep thoughts would say. Not that we would know. Also, unicorns.
